St Dominic is a rural parish on the eastern edge of Cornwall, set within the beautiful Tamar Valley National Landscape. The parish is home to around 900 residents and includes St Dominic village and the smaller communities of Ashton, Bohetherick and Halton Quay.
With its strong community spirit, beautiful countryside and close connection to the River Tamar, St Dominic is a special place to live, work and visit. The parish is home to a thriving community shop, Parish Hall, local groups, school, churches and a range of community activities and projects.
The Parish Council works on behalf of residents to support the parish, maintain and improve local facilities, and represent the community on matters that affect the area.

The October edition of St Dominick Parish News is now available to read.
This month’s edition includes news of the reopening of the Who’d Have Thought It, the Harvest Festival and Supper, activities at the Community Shop, local events and activities, the Advent Window Trail and an update from the Parish Council.

Annual Governance and Accountability Return – Audit Completed
BDO, the Parish Council’s external auditors, have completed their review of Sections 1 and 2 of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for the year ended 31 March 2026.
BDO have certified the Parish Council’s AGAR in accordance with the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014.
